Fuck all the mainstream music….like seriously 99% of it is pure shit. I’d rather listen to/go see a band that not many people know then listen to/go see some shit like 2 chainz. Shits not real man it has no meaning. Most rap turned to shit we need more rappers like biggie and eminem where the lyrics actually mean something. And no More of this fake happy go lucky shit that’s not real, bad things happen Id rather listen to songs about personal experience then songs about the club and fucking bitches….that’s why I Like metal and shit more most of the songs actually have a meaning and message Behind them and people can connect to the lyrics…seriously metal and punk over mainstream any day. If you wanna listen to something with meaning listen to incubus or parkway drive or of mice and men or avenged sevenfold or sublime their songs actually mean something. They have a message that people can connect to. The lyrics are about personal experience and problems they have faced in life. Not about going to the club and getting “faded” with all their “hoes”. It’s about what they’ve gone through and people can relate because they may have gone through the same thing. That’s what real music is. Making something that not only you love but something that people can relate to and go to your show and have a good time and just mosh and go wild. Not just stand there bumping their arm up and Down while you rap about hoes money cars and drugs. It’s fake bullshit. I’d rather be and artist and have a small fan base of people that can relate to my songs and know all the words because they feel the same way or they truly love the music I make. And will go to my shows and have an energetic good time because I would put everything into every show. Rather than just have a huge one of random people who don’t know what my music about and just listen to me cause it’s what’s cool. I rather be remembered by few than known by a million.
